I found these packaged rubber circles in Terry's room today. I opened a few and put them on my fingers. They're pretty gooey inside. What kind of weird finger gloves are these, mate? Seriously. You are mad. I'm revoking your personhood.

I didn't get to see the game. But I was working when they came in. Holy crap! Quidditch has always been a rather dirty sport, but dear Merlin. I don't think we've seen something like this in awhile. Nothing more entertaining than seeing Smith with a tail, though.

What a week!
I don't even know where to begin. From Seamus' smashing party to the Quidditch game - I don't think I've had this much fun in awhile. And that's saying something, coming from me.
Merlin, I was so drunk on Tuesday. I nursed a pretty horrible headache the next morning, believe you me. But man was it worth it.Katie
We need to have more get togethers like that. It was fantastic. I'd offer up my place sometime but I'm pretty sureTerry the boys wouldn't agree. That and it probably wouldn't hold everyone, anyway.
The Quidditch game on Friday was brilliant. It was pretty awesome to see Harry playing again. I swear, that guy is born to fly. Awesome catch, mate! Gryffindor was always my second favorite team back in the day. What with all the pretty Chasers and the overall amazing talent. Hannah didn't really pay attention to the game much, but I think she enjoyed having Gavin to pick on for a bit.
I wish we had more days in the weekend. I'm really not interested in going to work tomorrow. I'm a swing shift too... nothing like working at odd hours of the night. We tend to get most of our bite patients during the day, so I'm certain I'll be a bit bored.
I feel the sweet tooth kicking in. Someone, come get Ice Cream with me this week, ya? I'd love the company AND the sweets!

Friday! The big game. I'm pretty excited about it. Looks like its going to be a good time and some interesting teams, to boot! It's the perfect time to induct my girl into the wonderfulness that is Quidditch. I'm not really sure how well a 3 year old will be able to sit during a game but I figure she'll be fascinated enough by the swarm of colorful blurs for the first bit. I'm bringing some coloring books too, just in case. (And yes, Lisa, I will keep more of an eye on Hannah than the game.)
Also - Viktor Krum vs. Harry Potter? EPIC. Only a madly insane person would miss this! I'm running a betting pool for the game. Haven't decided who I'm putting my money on yet, but anyone interested in a friendly wager should definitely let me know. I've got a list going already.

I had to go see Starsky & Hutch by myself. Stop erasing memories and start paying more attention to me. I'm pretty sure I'm more important than some Muggle who pissed himself at the sight of a flying broomstick!
And Michael the dishes are piling up. My rock beat your scissors.
